Developers makes clear unfilled Wii plan

Nintendo has explained why we have an empty Wii software agenda for 2011.

NOA boss Reggie Fils-Aime told IGN (via Eurogamer) that it has had to pay attention to the releases of both Nintendo 3DS R4 and Pokemon Black & White.

"We have experienced to effectively get ready for the launch of r43ds and also effectively organize the launch of Pokemon Black & White," he explained.

"Candidly, we've pushed out some Wii launches therefore we can target our handheld business. We're already juggling two big balls. So as to add one third would have been a small amount challenging. Or a fourth or possibly a fifth."

Fils-Aime assured there will likely be "content coming" for the Wii that'll be revealed before and with this year's E3 conference in June.

"We're waiting to space things out and let Pokemon Black & White and 3DS SuperCard live and exhale there," he explained.

"But there's content coming and we'll be sharing more in the weeks ahead. We'll be bringing some content out before E3 and certainly at E3 we'll be sharing some news."

Pokemon Black & White was launched yesterday as you move the Nintendo 3DS will likely be obtainable in Europe on March 25.
